By combining the human body with technology, we can surpass the current human condition and the path of evolution toward the posthuman. We can imagine the infinite possibilities for our bodies.

However, the transformation and evolution beyond human biological limitations raise questions about the viability of the body as the threshold of life and death. People whose brain has stopped functioning could be, theoretically, judged to be living life. They consume the nutrients they need to sustain life through their noses but feel no taste in these nutrients. What do the senses mean at the boundary between life and death, and what is the role of 'feeling/sensing' in human life?

This project proposes a "Red Greeting" that allows us to feel the sense of "taste" with our hands, instead of our tongue, for the transition of sensory functions. It can provide the possibility of tasting from the hands of people who consume nutrients through their noses due to the loss of brain function. People can also taste food that cannot be consumed due to certain allergies. When the body’s taste senses are expanded beyond the tongue, the range of taste is also expanded, which is not limited to food. Red Greeting, with the tongue's taste buds attached, can be tasted and delivered to the brain to everything (wall, wood, fence…) touched by this device. It can remind us of the joy of sensation in the boundary between life and death as well as the expansion of sensory functions in human life.
